Popcorn Palace listed in 2008 Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing privately-held companies   09/02/2008

Schiller Park IL – September 2, 2008 – Popcorn Palace, Illinois-based online purveyor of gourmet popcorn, announced today that the company has been named to the 2008 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing companies in North America. Popcorn Palace was among the 5000 companies recognized by Inc. magazine and Inc.com for its growth over the past three years. Popcorn Palace was ranked No. 100 on the list of food and beverage companies, and experienced a three year growth rate of 86.1 percent.

The 2008 Inc. 5000 list measures revenue growth from 2004 through 2007. To qualify, companies must be U.S.-based and privately held, independent – not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies – as of December 31, 2007, and have had at least $200,000 in revenue in 2004, and $2 million in 2007.
